We have a positions open for a Garage Shop Supervisor to work for our client based in Auburn Hills MI

What you will be doing :
- Lead a team of salaried bargaining and non-bargaining work teams in completing vehicle retrofits, builds, and / or part fabrication.
- This role directly supports daily production. The supervisor is responsible for
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise and allocate resources and Client accordingly to resolve issues without impact to shop throughput performance.
- Lead Safety, Quality and Cost initiatives for the shop and provide regular status to leadership.
What you'll need to be successful :
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree
- years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing / dealership environment.
- Ability to demonstrate lean manufacturing knowledge and application.
- Ability to direct the workforce and deliver results.
- Experience in resolving employee conflicts with professionalism and integrity.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications :
- BSME from ABET accredited program.
- years of experience in a manufacturing environment focused on production control.
- Experience Working in a Unionized Environment
